Martell has unveiled its third addition to the Millésime Collection: Millésime 1972. A vintage eau-de-vie, Millésime 1972’s outstanding sensory fullness has come of age after forty-three years in old barrels and a resting period in the Chais de la Coquille, the House’s oldest cellar in Cognac.
Millésime 1972 celebrates the expertise of the House, the perpetuating savoir-faire initiated by Jean Martell in 1715 and the promise of an unforgettable tasting experience.
The Martell Millésime 1972 is a limited edition series with only 3,500 units numbered and bottled worldwide, of which 2,500 are exclusive to Asia Travel Retail.
The Millésime 1972 bottle is inspired by the Martell ‘montre’, a small cylindrical carafe traditionally used to present samples of the various eaux-de-vie to the Cellar Master for blending.
Millésime 1972 is available from February 2016 for RRP $838 USD throughout Asia Travel Retail with key product showcases in Hong Kong International Airport, Taoyuan Airport, Changi Airport, Bangkok Downtown duty free store and Kuala Lumpur Airport.
