Charlotte Stockdale, Jo Malone’s style editor, has launched the latest addition to Jo Malone’s Home Collection: ‘My Wanderlust’.
Each scent from the collection was crafted out of Stockdale’s love for travel and the places she has explored. The collection includes a candle, home scent, linen spray, soap and a diffuser.
Inspired by the vast foothills of the Atlas Mountains, the scent of the Cardamom & Moroccan Rose home candle was created by dominant notes of aromatic cardamom, sweet Moroccan rose and honeyed spice with hints of fresh ginger and chamomile — resulting in expansive yet luscious floral facets.
The Box Hedge Scent with notes of fresh cypress, fruity cassis and galbanum, illustrates the clean green scent of a newly clipped box hedge.
Created to capture the warmth of a dusky Caribbean evening with a sensuous touch, the Night Jasmine & Oregano Linen Spray was formulated with jasmine and oregano combined with thyme and the chilling effervescence of pink pepper.
The scent of the Acacia & Honey soap is meant to encapsulate the hazy breeze of an Australian beach. Key notes include sweet honey with lively ginger, topped off by a powdery, floral note of acacia.
Lastly, the exotic scent of the Lime Basil & Mandarin diffuser is made up with notes of revitalising citrus, tart mandarin and zesty grapefruit — all wrapped up in amber wood with surprise hints of basil and white thyme, paying tribute to the pleasant Caribbean breeze.
The ‘My Wanderlust’ collection comes in atmospheric packaging inspired by British watercolour paintings.
The collection will be available from January 2015 for a limited time at Jo Malone London boutiques in Travel Retail locations worldwide.
