Frankfurt Airport adds home delivery service within Germany to its online shopping offering.

Now at https://shop.frankfurt-airport.com/en/, travellers have the opportunity to order goods from the Heinemann Duty Free & Travel Value range and have them delivered to an address in Germany.

More and more passengers are taking advantage of Frankfurt Airport’s online shopping service to browse the airport’s various shops from the comfort of their home. So far, however, purchases made online still had to be collected at the airport. Now, a home delivery service has been added to the airport’s online shopping offering. Frankfurt Airport Retail GmbH & Co. KG is the first retailer participating in FRA’s Online Shop platform to offer this service for duty-free purchases. To mark the launch of the new service, purchases are even delivered free of charge.

The home delivery service can be used by anyone possessing a valid flight ticket from Frankfurt to a destination within the EU. The delivery address must be within Germany, and passengers can place repeated orders up to 90 days before their flight. Thus, customers can browse at their own convenience and often benefit from attractive offers over an extended period of time. Another advantage of the home delivery service is that passengers no longer need to worry about hand baggage allowances or carry the additional weight with them on their journey. For example, they can now buy their favorite wine by the case instead of by the bottle, although purchases remain limited to normal household quantities as previously. Payment can be made by credit card or PayPal. Tobacco products are excluded from the delivery service.

Passengers not wishing to take advantage of home delivery can still reserve products in the online shop and collect them at the airport. This also applies for products available in the many participating shops located in the publicly accessible part of Frankfurt Airport. Here, shoppers do not even require a flight ticket to purchase products.

With the Frankfurt Airport Rewards program, passengers who shop at Germany’s largest aviation hub can also collect points for every purchase they make and immediately redeem them in exchange for attractive rewards.
