New cabin bag size restrictions come into effect from November 1 2018 for passengers flying with low-cost airlines Ryanair and Wizzair – superlight CabinZero bags could be the solution.
Flying with Ryanair or Wizzair? Don’t be caught out by new carry-on bag restrictions that come info force on November 1, 2018.
From November 1 Ryanair and Wizzair passengers will only be allowed to take one free small carry-on bag onboard, unless priority boarding has been booked in advance. If you’re caught with a bag that doesn’t fit the new sizing regulations non-priority customers may have to pay €25 at the gate for their bag to be tagged and placed in the hold.
Backpack makers CabinZero have launched their 28L bag weighing only 600g – with which, the brand says, you can rest assured that your carry on items will be allowed onboard (assuming airline-permitted).
Available in a variety of styles and more than 20 colours, CabinZero bags are made of soft and flexible material with side compression straps to avoid over-packing. The 28L size is perfect for passengers on Ryanair, Wizzair and other low-cost airlines where carry on baggage is restricted.
In addition, passengers upgrading to priority level at the time of booking are able to take one small piece of luggage and one larger sized bag onto airlines such as Ryanair and Wizzair. These both still need to fit into the required dimensions for overhead lockers – CabinZero have that covered too with their 44L bag – perfect as the larger option. Again, these come in a variety of styles and colours, weighing from just 760g.
All bags include lost and found tags and come with a 10-year guarantee (upgraded for free to 25 years when registering at cabinzero.com).
Why not go the whole hog and pick up a CabinZero hip pack as well? These can be worn round the waist, are not included as a carry-on bag, and are perfect for essential items such as phones, wallets, earphones, keys etc.
Look out for CabinZero bags landside or airside at airports including London Gatwick, London Heathrow, Barcelona, Madrid, Amsterdam Schiphol, Cophenhagen and Dublin.
