Lagardère Travel Retail has announced the opening of a new “last minute” duty free store at Jorge Chávez International Airport in Lima, Peru.
This opening builds on the landmark milestone achieved in June 2025, when Lagardère Travel Retail unveiled 4,000m² of duty free and duty paid retail alongside a 3,300m² dining area within Lima’s new terminal, anchoring the company’s presence in Latin America. The new last minute store, Duty Free Express, reinforces the commercial offer at Jorge Chávez, extending the opportunity to purchase all the way to the final moments before boarding.
Designed specifically with time-pressed travellers in mind, the new store addresses a clear and well-established need: a streamlined, accessible and efficient duty free offer, ideally positioned at the gate, with a diverse assortment spanning perfumes & cosmetics, liquor, food, fashion and other categories. The store is tailored to suit a wide range of traveller profiles and purchasing needs – a spontaneous gift, a travel essential or a treat before take-off.
This opening is a further demonstration of Lagardère Travel Retail’s ability to create a coherent and comprehensive commercial ecosystem within the airport. By combining a flagship duty free destination with a dedicated last minute offer, Lagardère Travel Retail Peru ensures that every passenger can enjoy a relevant and convenient shopping experience when travelling from Lima.
