ABERFELDY has announced the exclusive launch of ABERFELDY 24 Year Old Oloroso Sherry Cask Finish single-malt with Dubai Duty Free.

This latest exciting release from the Exceptional Cask Series enhances the range’s reputation as one of the finest sources of rare and collectable single malts available in the travel-retail market. The Exceptional Cask Series is a family of outstanding single-cask expressions, double-cask releases small-batch whiskies. Bacardi Director of Blending, Scotch Whisky Stephanie Macleod, was named Master Blender of the Year by the International Whisky Competition (IWC) 2024 for a sensational, sixth consecutive time.

ABERFELDY 24 Year Old Oloroso Sherry Cask was finished for eight years in highly prized Oloroso Sherry Casks to add an extra dimension of rich, complex flavour and colour to the sleeping whisky inside. Oloroso sherry casks are highly valued by Scotch whisky distillers for their ability to impart notes of dried fruit, nuts, baking spices, leather and tobacco into ageing spirit.

The maturation and flavour development of each cask is carefully monitored, ensuring the Oloroso cask elevates and complements the signature character of ABERFELDY rather than overpowering it. ABERFELDY 24 Year Old Oloroso Sherry Cask offers flavours of orange peel and freshly baked fruitcake on the palate, balanced with smooth dark chocolate, a hint of freshly brewed espresso coffee and lingering cinnamon spice.

ABERFELDY 24 Year Old Oloroso Sherry Cask is now available with Dubai Duty Free. Only 624 bottles are available. Dubai Duty Free remains one of the world’s biggest whisky retailers, selling over 2.3 million bottles of whisky last year.
