Absolut Electrik limited edition bottles launch into global travel retail ready to turn your night electric!

The range of metallic limited edition bottles – available in blue and silver – is designed to evoke a feeling of energy capable of turning any night electric. The launch continues Absolut’s mission to transform the night by infusing it with creativity (see previous post).

At a time when people are travelling around the world to discover the cultural nightlife found in international cities, Absolut Electrik offers passengers the opportunity to enhance the dynamic energy of any night. The brands says this stylish and striking limited edition bottle makes a unique gift for the perfect addition to a party or drinks collection.

Absolut Electrik follows the brand’s celebrated tradition of introducing end of year limited editions featuring cutting-edge designs. The twin bottle release is available in Electrik blue and silver, with semi-transparent coating creating see-through reflections. The two colours, Absolut’s signature cobalt blue and reflective silver, are visual references to both Absolut’s identity and the colours of night time. When combined, the colours reflect an Electrik aesthetic reminiscent of the flashing lights and pumping beats present in the very best of nights.

The arrival in global travel retail coincides with a London launch party for the limited edition range, the second in a series of global events exploring the future of nightlife. Further events in the series will take place in Brazil, Germany, Mexico, and other countries around the world.

In Europe specifically there is a large scale activation in World Duty Free at London Heathrow from 25th November 2015 until 5th January 2016. During this time there will be tastings of the Absolut Electrik Blue Mule and a gift with purchase of luggage tags.
