Aelia Duty Free are launching a major pan-European promotion this summer – giving travelling shoppers the chance to win a million Euros, dream holidays and much more…

Airport Million’Air will play across 4 countries (UK, France, Luxembourg and Czech Republic), while Aelia Duty Free shops in Switzerland, Poland, Croatia and Italy will feature a variation of this campaign – Win Your Next Dream Vacation.

Altogether the campaign will feature in 65 Aelia Duty Free shops – customers can try their luck at winning one million Euros or a dream holiday valued at 10,000 Euros with a minimum purchase of just 5 Euros!

The promotion will run from today (July 3) until August 28 2018 to cover the summer holiday season; Aelia Duty Free expect the campaign to involve a great number of passengers during one of the most intense travel periods of the year.

How the Airport Million’Air competition works:

Depending on how much a traveller spends, and on which products, each purchase earns a set number of entries into a grand prize draw for the €1 million Euro prize.

Some selected products are grouped in Gold and Platinum categories – buying a product from these categories earns 2 or even 3 extra chances to win the big prize. Customers paying for their shopping by VISA also get 3 extra entries into the draw.

To enter the prize draw each customer will need to visit a special website www.airportwinner.com (www.dreamvacationwinner.com for customers shopping at Aelia Duty Free shops in Italy, Poland, Croatia and Switzerland) and log in a unique code which will have been printed on the till receipt. Once this is done the entry into the prize draw will be completed – the draw itself will be made on September 17 2018.

Travellers will be made aware of the promotion via a 360 campaign involving marketing collateral in the stores and on the Aelia Duty Free websites, apps, social media channels and customer email newsletters, press releases and a digital campaign targeting people as they arrive in each of the featured airports.
