A neo-vintage gourmand
For Le Nectar, perfumer Romain Almairac aimed to evoke a sensation—that compelling contrast between the warm spirit of vintage fragrance and the luminous ease of contemporary femininity. “I imagined a tempo of neroli and tonka, where the warmth of the patchouli essence meets modern light” he explains.
It’s this duality, this dance between nostalgia and the present, that gives the composition its captivating rhythm.
The fragrance opens with the sparkling freshness of bergamot, then reveals its heart: an opulent flower nectar accord where neroli essential oil, orange blossom absolute and rose absolute intertwine in radiant harmony. This is where the composition truly comes alive—honeyed, luminous, utterly enveloping.
As it settles, the base unveils an overload of balmy tonka absolute, amber accord, that is enriched by the earthy depth of patchouli essence — iconic associations and notes that ground the composition in warmth and sensuality.
Ambroxan, cashmeran, and sandalwood intertwine through the base, creating a gentle, enveloping trail that lingers with both strength and ease. The result is a fragrance that embraces contrasts: structured yet free, nostalgic yet resolutely modern, indulgent yet light.
