Coccinelle’s new advertising campaign for SS 2016 has been unveiled with Italian supermodel Mariacarla Boscono (and some kittens) chosen to interpret it’s new collection.
Lightness and femininity characterise Coccinelle’s happy mood and style: “In the new campaign we stress the positive idea of a conscious and confident woman, a determined woman who never loses her femininity and beauty”, Eleonora Pujia, the Italian brand’s Communications Manager, explains.
In the campaign this mood is conveyed by the colour pink, from the full colour of the pink backdrops to the delicate pink of the naked skin – and the strawberry pink of the handbags, which, in the entertaining campaign video, are transformed into little kittens in the arms of an amazed Mariacarla Boscono. The most popular animal among women, the cat, is the real star of the new Coccinelle campaign.
The advertisements also feature the brand’s new It-bag, Perine. Described as a versatile and glamorous shopping bag in suede/leather, leather/gold and perforated leather finishings.
The campaign, shot by Billy Kidd on his fifth campaign for Coccinelle, will be published online and in major international fashion magazines starting from January.
