Dubai Duty Free is leading the way again in duty free retail by adding the iHealth range of clinically validated wireless medical devices to its shelves.
The unique new range of iHealth products includes Blood Pressure monitors that wirelessly transmit blood pressure information to the user’s iPhone or Android smartphone. Devices such as the iHealth Blood Glucose monitors connect directly to an iPhone for easy to understand reporting, with analysis based on the user’s previously recorded history, that can then be shared with a doctor over email or through the iHealth Cloud servers.

iHealth products are subject to the strictest clinical validation protocols. The blood pressure monitors are validated against the ESH (European Society of Hypertension) protocol and the glucometers are validated against the exacting ISO15197:2013 protocol. All devices also carry the CE mark.

Recently DDF Pharmacists and sales staff spent a day being trained by Mr Rana in the use of these devices and how to offer assistance and recommendations to travellers.
