FIRST LOOK: New Miss Dior scent set for September launch

Parfums Christian Dior is set to launch a new edition of its Miss Dior Eau de Parfum this September with a campaign featuring actress Natalie Portman and a lot of LOVE!

Dior is back on the launch pad with a major campaign for its new Miss Dior fragrance – described by perfumer Francois Demachy as fresh, dominantly floral but still chypre. The composition consists of three accords; “Fresh” includes a mix of various citruses, “sensual” combines two roses, while “characterful” contains the woody tones.

The launch and its campaign are of course beautiful and place Natalie Portman at the centre of the ‘love’ theme – is it your love for Dior or Dior’s love for you? The key slogans shout “Miss Dior for Love”, “Dior for Love” and “And you, what would you do for love?”. Essentially the house are saying this is a young, sexy but still elegant scent.

Dior have been introducing the new fragrance in China and Japan with a series of high profile events – and showing off the presentations that will accompany the perfume when it makes its debut in stores around the world. No doubt airport duty-free shops will be a key launch location for this global best-seller’s newest interpretation.

Miss Dior Eau de Parfum will be available as a 30, 50 and 100 ml Eau de Parfum with accompanying body lotion and body cream.
