Glen Moray is releasing 100 bottles of a very exciting 10 Year Old Elgin edition, paying homage to the town that has made it famous.
The idea was conceived when Elgin was bidding for city status as part of the Queen’s Jubilee celebrations in June.
Two designs were created, and Glen Moray enthusiasts were invited to vote for the design they most wanted to have produced, with a chance of winning one of the strictly limited numbers.
The winning design depicts Elgin in large letters presenting an array of the town’s architectural icons in montage with the Glen Moray pot still.
A small number of bottles shall be available to buy directly from the Glen Moray Visitor’s Centre, and others shall be offered throughout the year via ongoing social media activity.
This Glen Moray 10 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky records our pride in being a long-standing resident in the wonderful home of Elgin.
Centuries of rich history are embedded in the outstanding architecture throughout Elgin and, of course, it’s the Elgin people who make our home that little bit special.
So, a toast to Elgin – sit down, relax, and immerse in the elegance of this delicate 10 year old, with a mouthfeel and taste that befits a very memorable place in Speyside.
