Glenfiddich, the world’s most awarded Single Malt Scotch Whisky1, unveils The Voyage Collection, a new permanent Global Travel Retail exclusive range. Curated to invite discerning travellers into a discovery of expressions that embody Glenfiddich’s heritage, innovation and craftsmanship, the range spans from its revolutionary Solera system to its first-ever release finished in Port pipes.
Conceived as an anthology of Glenfiddich’s creativity, The Voyage Collection celebrates the pivotal moments that have reshaped the boundaries of single malt and continue to inspire the next chapter of maturation. For decades, Glenfiddich has led the way in understanding how wood, time and provenance quietly influence a whisky’s character. This new range is the culmination of that lasting exploration.
For nearly half a century, cask finishing has played a defining role in Glenfiddich’s approach, bringing greater depth, distinction and complexity to its whiskies. Today, Glenfiddich Malt Master Brian Kinsman builds on that legacy not only to preserve it, but to refine it, selecting expressions that bring together defining stories of maturation from Glenfiddich’s past and present, while pointing confidently towards its future.
Each whisky within The Voyage Collection draws inspiration from a different approach to further maturation. The range includes the fragrant and floral Warehouse Eight Solera, inspired by the Solera Vat system of Andalucía, first introduced in 1998 at the Glenfiddich distillery in the Single Malt making process; the soft and mellow 12-Year-Old Rum Cask Finish, an early breakthrough in flavour exploration, marrying Speyside elegance with tropical vibrancy; the velvety, vibrant 15-Year-Old Sherry Cask Finish, honouring more than a century of sherry cask influence at the distillery; and the rich, luxurious 18-Year-Old Port Cask Finish, the first Glenfiddich ever finished in Port pipes, marking a milestone that signals a new chapter of innovation.
Crafted for a contemporary audience, the refreshed look balances modernity with heritage, drawing on resurfaced icons from the Glenfiddich family archive spanning more than five generations. Central to the refreshed design is the iconic stag, which has featured on the bottle since the 1960s, the reworked stag has been refined to reflect the character of the whisky and is framed by the distillery’s founding year of 1887. The design purposefully underscores Glenfiddich’s deep roots in Speyside, honouring it’s 139-year legacy while reinforcing its status as a British-born luxury icon. With one eye on the past and the other firmly fixed on the future, the new Glenfiddich design language intertwines the distillery’s rich history with a timeless modernity.
Brian Kinsman, Glenfiddich Malt Master, said:
“What makes this launch so special is the way it brings together different chapters of Glenfiddich in one curated collection. Each expression has its own personality, shaped by a distinctive maturation journey, yet all are united by the same spirit of curiosity and craft of the invisible forces that shape a whisky over years. For travellers, it offers a rare opportunity to experience the breadth of Glenfiddich’s cask expertise.”
Rufus Parkinson, Regional Managing Director, Global Travel Retail at William Grant & Sons, said:
