Carefully crafted, matured in an exceptional Sherry cask and cared for by Master Distiller, Alan Winchester, Vintage 1966 has been slowly maturing at The Glenlivet Distillery for 50 years and is now available in Global Travel Retail.
As the second offering from the Winchester Collection, the series of rare and precious 50 year old single malt Scotch whiskies from The Glenlivet, Vintage 1966 is an exquisite whisky bursting with flavours from the Sherry influence, and is luxuriously dark in colour.
Over a number of years, Alan Winchester will release the whiskies as they reach peak maturation and excellence, in tribute to George Smith, the creator of the original single malt whisky that set the standard, and Master Distillers before him.
Only 100 uniquely numbered bottles of this highly exclusive second edition of The Glenlivet Winchester Collection have been released in over 23 countries, with a selection available in Global Travel Retail.
