A brand new, redesigned shopping experience now awaits passengers at Hamburg Airport.
Several shopping spaces on the Pier and in the Airport Plaza have been remodelled since the beginning of the year. Hamburg’s Gebr. Heinemann have now opened their shop with a fresh product range including new brands and a modern design. The shops are located after the security checkpoint.
“At Hamburg Airport, we never sit still in our commitment to provide passengers with an optimal travel experience and a maximum of comfort. And this, of course, includes a colourful range of shopping options,” says Lutz Deubel, Head of Center Management at Hamburg Airport. “We have been in partnership with Gebr. Heinemann for many years, and the company has a great deal of experience and awareness of customer needs. We are thrilled about the fresh new design that the shops are now presenting — along with even more products and offers for customers to discover.”
Jan Richter, Purchasing Director Fashion & Accessories Gebr. Heinemann: “We are proud to open these new developed Fashion & Accessories and Watches & Jewellery (FAWJ) multibrand concepts at our homebase in Hamburg. The goal for us is to create an exciting and outstanding environment to surprise and please or customers. It is part of the Heinemann FAWJ Strategy to roll out the concept globally, but always linked to the individual local requirements and local sense.”
Olaf Benjamin, Purchasing Director Watches & Jewellery Gebr. Heinemann: “We are happy to introduce new brands to our customers at Hamburg Airport and further strengthen our long-term partnerships with them.”
New brands, Hamburg souvenirs and a modern atmosphere
Gebr. Heinemann’s Destination Hamburg concept store is now located in the Airport Plaza at Hamburg Airport with a regional design atmosphere offering typical Hamburg souvenir articles, e.g. from St. Pauli, HSV and Gin Sul. Gebr. Heinemann previously operated the shop with a similar range adjacent to Gate B53. The relocation places the shop in an even more prominent location, easily accessible for passengers directly after the central security checkpoint in the Airport Plaza.
Also in the Airport Plaza is the remodelled Heinemann Duty Free, where Gebr. Heinemann sell premium sunglasses from numerous luxury designer brands including Gucci, Dior, Prada, Tom Ford, Saint Laurent, Miu Miu, Dolce e Gabbana, Ray Ban, Oakley and Le Specs. At the third location, close to Gate A18, Heinemann has launched its innovative “FAWJ” (“Fashion Accessories Watches Jewellery”) concept, selling bags, leather goods, jewellery and watches in a range of price categories from brands including Longchamp, Coach, See by Chloé, Furla, Tumi, Pinko, Longines, Breitling, Tag Heuer, Rado, Tissot, Swatch and Swarovski.
The new shop concepts offer customers the price benefit of Heinemann’s duty-free pricing.
On the move for a colourful shopping experience
The large Heinemann Duty Free shop, where passengers can browse immediately after the security checkpoint, has also been comprehensively refurbished in recent weeks and now has attractive new brands on offer. Several shops have changed places in the Southern Passenger Pier, reopening with modernised designs and optimising the usage of existing retail space.
