The Kuwait-based low-cost carrier Jazeera Airways has formed a partnership with the convenience stores chain, Trolley, to provide an on-board ‘convenience store experience’ for passengers.
The on-board convenience store will be available for business and economy class passengers, in addition to the in-flight duty free shop, and will feature over 100 items covering personal and child care, food and beverages, games, skin care, electronics and more.
“We continue at Jazeera Airways to bring convenience to our customers, making their travel experience more enjoyable,” commented Jazeera Airways CEO Rohit Ramachandran. “We have the pleasure today to be partnering with Trolley which has become a leading service provider in Kuwait, to introduce their wide range of travel-related retail products on-board all our flights.”
A chain of convenience stores, Trolley opens in locations such as universities, gas stations, malls and as of this agreement, on flights.
Trolley co-founder and CEO, Mohammed Boodai said the company was glad to introduce the “unique concept of convenience store in the sky” and said, “Trolley will be serving its versatile range on-board Jazeera Airways to enable passengers to buy what they need while travelling. It gives me immense pleasure to be working with Jazeera and taking both Kuwaiti brands to new heights.”
