Kaia Gerber has once again been tapped by luxury accessory brand Jimmy Choo to star in its Fall/Winter 2019 campaign.
“For me, Jimmy Choo represents strength and power,” the 17-year-old supermodel says. “I am so grateful to be a part of the Autumn/Winter campaign, which marks an important chapter in the brand’s story.”
This new chapter is marked by the unveiling of the JC monogram. Cast in brushed gold with an interlocked silhouette, the monogram is meant to be seen as the embodiment of everything that Jimmy Choo stands for: iconic and timeless.
“The multi-faceted design reflects the dynamism of the Jimmy Choo woman and the accessories she commands,” says Sandra Choi, creative director of the label.
Shot by renowned photographer Steven Meisel, Gerber is captured posing with the new JC monogram, featuring core footwear styles along while revealing the newest family of handbags: The Varenne. Presented in an leather and suede, three key silhouettes—the bowling, cross-body, and clutch—are available in Bordeaux, camel, black, dust, and dark green colorways, complete with the new JC monogram.
“In my mind, Kaia represents a muse for the next generation with a timeless sense of beauty,” Choi continues. “She’s a modern heroine in the making.”
The campaign is set to appear globally July 11.
