For Winter 2018, Louis Vuitton has added a fun new detail – a colourful, braided top strap – to some of its best-selling bags.
Depending on the style, the braided details adorn bags in Empreinte (which has tonal straps) or Epi leather, in addition to several in the iconic Monogram Canvas.
Naturally, the braided handles will cost shoppers several hundred dollars more than the bags in their original formats – but what price can you put on being that little bit different! The Artsy MM in monogram, for instance, increases $540 from $2,000 to $2,540, and the Pochette Metis increases $530 in monogram, from $1,830 to $2,360.
