Manchester Airport opens new look Biza duty-free store

World Duty Free, under its sister-brand Biza, has officially launched its redesigned, walk-through duty-free store in Manchester Airport’s T2.

Officially opened on September 8, the new Biza duty free and travel retail store takes pride of place in the terminal, which handles 5.86m passengers each year.

Store highlights include a Destination Tasting bar in the liquor area incorporating digital screens displaying tailored brand content; strong displays are in place from brands including Absolut, Haig, Smirnoff, Baileys, Havana Club and Ciroc; a World of Whiskies ‘shop in shop’ plus a host of new beauty brands – each with their own counters and display space.

Beauty brand NARS is on show while other newcomers to the terminal include Jo Malone, Giorgio Armani, Bobbi Brown, bareMinerals, Elemis, Tom Ford, Michael Kors and the hot make-up brand of the moment, Urban Decay.

Luxury retail includes watch brand displays for Michael Kors, Coach and Tissot. The sunglasses area has retro-illuminated displays showing off 44 brands and more than 1,600 styles. Confectionery and food has also been given significant space in the new store.

Ken O’Toole, Managing Director of Manchester Airport, adds: “We pride ourselves on continually improving the experience for the 22.75m annual passengers that travel through our terminals. This new Biza store transforms the shopping experience and I’m sure it will prove hugely popular.”

Apologies for the delay – we wanted to double check with the Biza store at Manchester airport. Unfortunately they say this item is not stocked in the Biza store.
