The House of Metaxa is presenting a new Limited Edition of the iconic METAXA 7 Stars, designed by the all-Greek brand LoveGreece, a fresh and upbeat company that creates Greek lifestyle products in an authentic and premium way.

METAXA 7 Stars by LoveGreece is being unveiled this month exclusively in the airports of Thessaloniki, Rhodes, Heraklion and Athens by Rémy Cointreau Global Travel Retail in co-operation with Hellenic Duty Free Shops.


The creative project behind the new expression was about bringing to the iconic spirit a touch of summer and a contemporary Greek feeling.

George Hatzizahariou, founder of LoveGreece, has created a visionary new label of 100% Greek cotton products. He created a stylish clothing and accessories line, focusing on ‘Greek chic’, in a cool and contemporary way.

“It was a dream come true to have the chance to collaborate with METAXA, which to me is without doubt the Greek House with the strongest aura and the best international exposure. We created an exclusive interpretation of METAXA 7 Stars, with the colours and graphic elements for which LoveGreece is famous, to make this Limited Edition really stand out. The Limited Edition METAXA 7 Stars by LoveGreece proposes fresh colours and design which bring a unique summer feel to the iconic spirit. The mix of gold, blue and white colours instantly evokes the Cycladic landscapes and architecture, the golden touch of the sun and its magical reflection on the Aegean Sea, as well as the gold colour of METAXA 7 Stars itself. The overall design is inspired by the Greek ‘evil eye’, the signature of LoveGreece, in a minimalistic and modern way.

To complement his creative work for METAXA 7 Stars, George Hatzizahariou has designed a Collectors’ Exclusive T-Shirt, part of the line of LoveGreece’s famous 100% Greek cotton shirts. This special piece can be purchased exclusively on during this summer only.
