NARS Cosmetics is leading the way for lips once again with a range of new launches in the pipeline, following the hugely successful launch of Powermatte Lip Pigment last year. Banking in on this accomplishment, NARS will also be going big in duty-free shops with engaging animations and a revamp of its the counter design to focus on lips.
The new products, which will be showcased at TFWA Asia Pacific Exhibition at the Shiseido Travel Retail booth, include the Liquid Lip Collection featuring three bold liquid lip formulas – Full Vinyl Lip Lacquer, Powermatte Lip Pigment and Velvet Lip Glide, and the latest travel retail exclusive #NARSissist Jetsetter Sets.

FULL VINYL LIP LACQUER
Intense colour and a mirror-like shine is achieved with the new limited edition Full Vinyl Lip Colour’s smooth, creamy formula, which glides on effortlessly with a comfortable feel and a line-free look.
Vivid pigments deliver buildable, full coverage colour while Vitamin E ingredients impart a moisturizing feel. The unique two-sided applicator includes a plush side that deposits the ideal amount of colour onto lips, and a smooth side to evenly distribute pigments and intensify shine. 10 shades include Abruzzo (metallic rose gold), At First Sight (clear with gold pearl), Baden Baden (deep aubergine), Cape Town (metallic gold with pink shimmer), Conquest (warm pink), Everglades (black with gold pearl), Mississippi (deep black cherry), Red District (vivid red), Santo Domingo (mauve pink) and Valencia (bright pink coral).
NARS Full Vinyl Lip Lacquer will launch in duty-free stores across Asia Pacific and Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA) from September.
POWERMATTE LIP PIGMENT – SHADE EXTENSION
Infinite matte colour that locks onto lips and won’t let go, Powermatte Lip Pigment glides on with ease. The smooth liquid texture gives fully saturated opaque coverage and a true matte finish. The custom doe-foot applicator allows for easy precision while the formula provides long lasting, smudge resistant wear. The range has been extended with five must-have shades ranging from neutral to bold: Call Me (coral), Somebody To Love (rose brown), Spin Me (rich red brown), Vain (brick red) and You’re No Good (dark reddish fuchsia).
NARS Powermatte Lip Pigment shade extension is set to launch in duty-free stores in Asia Pacific and EMEA from September.
VELVET LIP GLIDE – SHADE EXTENSION
The Velvet Lip Glide fully coats lips in saturated, satin colour with extraordinary comfort. The unique hybrid lip formula provides a luxurious, long-lasting finish without drying or feeling sticky while delivering an opaque satin finish and long-lasting wear with a high-impact colour payoff. In addition, a fusion of precious oils creates a smooth, moisturising effect. It is now available in five new shades: Mars (warm brown), Paradise Garage (soft plum), Roseland (rose blush), Swing (neutral rose) and Xenon (dusty mauve).

NARS LIP BAR GETS A MAKEOVER
In line with NARS’ 2018 Always on Lips strategy for travel retail, they will introduce a new ‘Lips to Style Lip Bar’ concept into the travel retail counters. This lip bar serves as an interesting and engaging consumer touch point for consumers to experience the iconic NARS Lip franchises, where consumers will be able to discover NARS Lip Icons featuring a range of seven lip finishes across eight lip product categories to suit every lip obsession. The eight lip product categories featured are: Velvet Matte Lip Pencil, Satin Lip Pencil, Audacious Lipstick, Satin Lipstick, Sheer Lipstick, Semi-Matte Lipstick, Velvet Lip Glide and Powermatte Lip Pigment.
Hong Kong International Airport will be the first to roll out this new concept when the counter opens at the end of this April.
