Nokia Steel tracker watches make debut at Copenhagen, Frankfurt, Munich & Amsterdam airports

This November, airport electrical specialist retailer Capi has introduced the newest line of Nokia activity & sleep tracker watches, the Nokia Steel, in its stores at Copenhagen, Frankfurt, Munich and Amsterdam Schiphol airports.

This stylish smart watch automatically tracks movements, analyses sleep and gives detailed insights on your daily activity progress. No charging needed thanks to its 8-month battery, it automatically syncs with the free Nokia Health Mate app. A useful feature for frequent travellers; the Nokia Steel smart watch will automatically set itself to the correct local time. All Capi staff members received training on the product’s added value.

Capi introduced the Nokia Steel in its stores at Schiphol, in Copenhagen, Frankfurt and Munich. The Nokia Steel is presented on the Action Marketing Table with demo watches in different colours and in the What’s New? showcase where the latest innovations are showcased. Capi was also the first to introduce the Nokia Steel Limited Edition in rose gold.

“In the frame of launching the Nokia brand into the digital health market, we identified Capi as a key partner,” said Nicolas Nepper, Nokia sales director North Europe. “Bringing innovative connected devices to promote collective health is our daily commitment. The premium positioning of Capi stores and its international audience made this partnership obvious.”

Peter Wiggers, Managing Director Royal Capi-Lux states: “At Capi, we constantly search for innovations and trends that will inspire travellers and we respond to constant changes in the market. Just like the developments in the Personal Care category, meaning we will now strongly focus on the upcoming trend Smart Health. The Nokia Steel combines the latest technology in activity watches with a stylish design.”
