Giorgio Armani Beauty brought its ARMANI BOX pop-up store to the world of duty-free at Hong Kong International Airport last month – and now its heading to Europe…
With eye-catching hot red walls and black lighting fixtures, the interior of the store is modern and elegant, in line with the Armani brand’s DNA. The unique emblem which stands to welcome all guests to the world of Armani is the giant red gorilla named Uri. This bold icon for the pop-up was created by Italian artist Marcantonio Raimondi Malerba. It is a replica of a full-sized gorilla statue that resides in Mr. Armani’s home in Milan.
At the pop-up store, guests try out the latest makeup products, such as Ecstasy Shine lipstick, which colours like a lip cream and moisturises like a balm, with the shine of a gloss.
During the Hong Kong event customers were encouraged to take a photo with Uri and enjoy a free print-out for a memorable souvenir of their makeup experience. Limited-edition Uri tote bags and stickers could also be redeemed with purchases, along with Giorgio Armani beauty product samples. For customers looking for personal beauty guidance, Giorgio Armani Face Designers were always on hand to provide expert, made-to-measure makeup services.
The Armani Box pop up store will land at Paris Charles de Gaulle airport on March 2nd, 2018.
