Tommy Hilfiger has announced that global tennis superstar Rafael Nadal will appear as the global brand ambassador for Tommy Hilfiger underwear, Tommy Hilfiger Tailored, and the new fragrance TH Bold, beginning in Autumn 2015.
“Rafael Nadal has been a longtime personal friend and supporter of our brand, and I’m continually inspired by his dedication and passion for his sport,” said Tommy Hilfiger. “This exclusive partnership brings one of the greatest athletes of this generation into our Tommy family. Rafael embodies an effortless sense of style that exemplifies and reflects our brand spirit – he’s confident, fun and cool.”
Strong and sporty, the TH Bold fragrance has been created for the modern man who’s intensely passionate and has a desire to live boldly. Both fresh and masculine, TH Bold is made for the rebel who plays to win.
The fragrance opens with a mix of crisp citrus notes including pomelo, tangerine and bergamot, followed by herbal and spicy notes like lavender and cardamom. As it develops further, extracts of jasmine and mandarin blossom balance with a woody Boronia accord. The drydown pairs orange flower absolute with powerfully masculine notes of cedar, sandalwood and vetiver, for a combination that excites the senses.
TH Bold celebrates the Tommy Hilfiger spirit of determination and confidence – a uniquely powerful blend. The TH Bold man ensures he is always at the top of his game, with a competitive nature and effortless self-confidence. The fragrance’s bottle is deep navy blue with a striking red and white striped TH Bold logo, embodying the passion and energy that inspired the aroma. The packaging has a sleek finish that reflects the TH Bold man’s courageous spirit.
TH Bold will be available at Tommy Hilfiger travel retail locations across the Americas from October 2015, then select locations in Europe later in Autumn.
