Valentino honours the art of fragrance layering with two new Noir Absolu scents

Valentino celebrates the art of fragrance layering with two new scents that can be mixed with other Valentino fragrances or worn independantly.

Valentino debuts two new fragrances this month (May 2018) – Valentino Noir Absolu Oud Essence and Valentino Noir Absolu Musc Essence. Both have been especially created to compliment the original Valentino Donna Noir Absolu and Valentino Uomo Noir Absolu fragrances. Valentino says the house is paying homage to the art of fragrance layering, with contrasting elements that make every aspect more intense and long lasting. Both editions can be worn separately.

Valentino Noir Absolu Oud Essence was created by perfumer Julien Rasquinet.
Combined with other fragrances, it brings out their powdery and sophisticated elements and gives them intensity. “Revealing a powerful imprint of sandalwood and cedar, with softly spiced and floral notes of saffron and myrtle, it intensifies the notes of the fragrances with which it is layered.”

Valentino Noir Absolu Musc Essence is a floral-musk composition signed by Olivier Pescheux. In combination with other scents, it prolongs their duration on the skin.
“Composed of rose absolute, orange blossom and powdery heliotrope in a white veil of aldehydes, it is finished with the warmth of tonka bean. Valentino Noir Absolu Musc Essence reveals powerful and woody facets when layered with intense fragrances and increases the longevity of the notes of the fragrances with which it is layered.”

Each is available as a 100 ml Eau de Parfum in an ebony studded glass bottle and black packaging.
