In the lead up to Wimbledon, Jacob’s Creek has landed a tennis-themed pop up in World Duty Free at London Gatwick, South Terminal. On 24 June there will be an exclusive guest appearance from brand ambassador and Winemaker, Rebekah Richardson and the chance to win Centre Court tickets.
To celebrate Jacob’s Creek sponsorship of this year’s Wimbledon tournament, the Jacob’s Creek tennis pop up invites tennis and wine enthusiasts to participate in an intimate sampling session with Rebekah. Visitors will have the opportunity to win Wimbledon Centre Court tickets; all they have to do is guess how many balls there are in the giant bottle of Jacob’s Creek!
Rebekah will be at the pop up to share her extensive knowledge of the Travel Retail exclusive Jacob’s Creek Winemaker’s Reserve range. She will also share insights on Jacob’s Creek position as the official wine of Wimbledon as well as details of the wider “Made True” campaign. Known for her instrumental role in shaping some of the new and innovative Jacob’s Creek wine styles, Rebekah will be available to sign bottles, making them extra special gifts for travellers.
Rebekah Richardson, Winemaker and Jacob’s Creek brand ambassador, said: “We are always looking to try new things, and this is why we are so passionate about bringing Jacob’s Creek from the vineyard to the courtside at Wimbledon. Just like Jacob’s Creek wines, Wimbledon stands for tradition and heritage, as well as for remaining exciting throughout the generations. I am so excited to be part of the Jacob’s Creek tennis pop up.”
Jacob’s Creek Winemaker’s Reserve range consists of a selection of wines including: Jacob’s Creek Adelaide Hills Chardonnay 2014, Jacob’s Creek Barossa Shiraz 2013 and Jacob’s Creek Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon 2012, perfect to enjoy courtside and beyond. The Jacob’s Creek Winemaker’s Reserve range will be available in the Jacob’s Creek tennis pop up for £9.99 per bottle.
