The Chinese New Year is just a couple weeks away, and while we await February 8th\u2019s arrival of dumpling delicacies and dancing dragons in the street, Prada are kicking off the festivities early with a capsule collection of China-red accessories for a prosperous (and playful) Lunar New Year.<\/p>\n

Delivering an array of the house\u2019s signature ladylike leather and croc handbags, patent pointed-toe flats, and kitten heels, the ‘The Monkey Chatters’ collection renders them all in red with gold hardware – both culturally significant colours thought to ward off evil spirits and bring good luck. The red leather racer-striped wallet and envelope pouches are a cool modern take on the time-old tradition of gifting cash in red envelopes. But perhaps the most enticing for fashion revellers ringing in the Year of the Monkey are the Prada primate key rings, luggage tags, gold trinkets, and furry charms.<\/p>\n
