Korean Air\u2019s onboard \u2018Duty Free Showcase\u2019 feature will be coming to the UK after the airline announced it would put its A380 aircraft into service on the Incheon to London Heathrow route. The first of the daily A380 flights will take place at the start of Korean Air\u2019s summer service on 27 March 2016.<\/p>\n

An innovative feature of Korean Air’s A380 fleet, the duty-free showcase area is\u00a0located at the rear\u00a0of the aircraft\u2019s lower deck and features a variety of luxury beauty, spirits and wine and selected fashion lines.<\/p>\n

A dedicated cabin crew member is normally\u00a0stationed in the showcase area, and is \u201con hand to assist and advise passengers with all their shopping needs\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe UK market has been keenly awaiting the opportunity to experience Korean Air<\/a>\u2019s A380 aircraft with its innovative layout and unique features,\u201d said Korean Air Sales Manager for UK & Ireland Peter Barron. \u201cOur passengers will not be disappointed. The A380 really does deserve its nickname \u2018Hotel in the Sky\u2019, and regardless of class of travel all passengers will experience a comfortable and restful journey with excellent inflight services.\u201d<\/p>\n
