launches limited edition 20 YO Ledaig Single Malt"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Tobermory Distillery has released a limited edition 20-year-old vintage single malt Scotch whisky \u2013 Ledaig 1996.<br \/>\n<!--more--><br \/>\nThe single malt comes from some of the very first spirit distilled when peated malt production first began on the Isle of Mull in 1996.<\/p>\n<p>Ledaig 1996 is said to carry an intense, smoky flavour thanks to the peat-dried malt barley used in its creation, which has been combined with peat-infused water from the distillery\u2019s own private water source.<\/p>\n<p>It has been aged in Spanish oloroso Sherry casks and is described as offering aromas of apple, mint and citrus, with flavours of peat, light Sherry and a spicy, salty, smoky finish.<\/p>\n<p>Ledaig 1996 is bottled at 46% abv and carries an RRP of \u00a3120 per 700ml bottle.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The expression is available in the UK and across select international markets, as well as global travel
