Roust Group, one of the world’s leading premium spirits producer and distributor, has announced the extension of the legendary Żubrówka product range with the launch of Żubrówka Black (Czarna).

This perfectly pure, super premium vodka has started a new chapter in the history of the iconic Żubrówka brand, which draws its unique taste from the richness of the primeval Białowieża Forest.

Żubrówka Black is the only Polish vodka to undergo a unique filtration process using charcoal from Białowieża oaks. The water for Żubrówka Black is drawn from the purest springs in the Białowieża Forest and top quality wheat is used for producing the neutral spirit that comes exclusively from Polish farms.

The special character of Żubrówka Black is not only emphasised by perfectly selected ingredients but through its unique packaging.

“This incredible vodka is enclosed in a truly innovative packaging: the first bottle in the market made of black transparent glass which emphasises the luxurious liquid inside the bottle. The long neck makes pouring easier while the bison grass engraving connects with the brand’s roots.“ commented Alicja Jelec, Vodka Category Marketing Director.

The launch of Żubrówka Black is supported by an integrated campaign consisting of high quality POS across stores and high end restaurants, linking PR and social media.

“Pure super premium vodkas are the most dynamically expanding segment of our market. Żubrówka Black will successfully complete with the international vodkas that currently dominate the segment and is set to revolutionise the category.” said Alicja Jelec.

Zubrówka Black launches in Poland this March in 3 sizes: 500, 700 and 1000 ml. We will let you know if there are plans for a global travel retail roll-out.
