Gucci has taken a very\u00a0exotic turn for its pre-fall 2016 advertising campaign. See the full campaign below…<\/p>\n

Continuing in the same eccentric vein as its SS16 campaign (which starred a skateboarding model holding a peacock), Gucci has unveiled its pre-fall 2016 campaign, which features a surprise cameo from a flock of flamingos. Captured by acclaimed photographer Glen Luchford once more, the ad depicts a cluttered scene of wild plants, old books and patterned rugs, reflecting the house\u2019s vintage-inspired new look.<\/p>\n

This time, Luchford captures the birds alongside a cast of fresh-faced models including new faces Nicole Atieno and Polina Oganicheva (both of whom you may remember from the house\u2019s SS16 campaign) inside a glass-domed tropical aviary \u2013 a fitting setting given Michele\u2019s repeated reference to animals and plants.<\/p>\n

While the backdrop may contain antiques, Michele\u2019s vision is a modern one \u2013 something reflected in the house\u2019s AW16 womenswear show which combined the old and the new, such as Snoopy prints, teddy bear graphics and pieces spray-painted by graffiti artist GucciGhost (aka Trouble Andrew).<\/p>\n
