{"id":12210,"date":"2016-04-11T10:54:47","date_gmt":"2016-04-11T10:54:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.dutyfreehunter.com\/blog\/?p=12210"},"modified":"2019-01-23T10:33:53","modified_gmt":"2019-01-23T10:33:53","slug":"glenmorangie-builds-legends-collection-tarlogan-duty-free-exclusive","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.dutyfreehunter.com\/blog\/glenmorangie-builds-legends-collection-tarlogan-duty-free-exclusive\/","title":{"rendered":"Glenmorangie builds Legends Collection with Tarlogan duty free exclusive"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Single malt Scotch Glenmorangie is to launch The Tarlogan, a limited edition travel retail exclusive expression.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>A no-age-statement whisky, The Tarlogan was matured in virgin oak and ex-Bourbon casks.<\/p>\n<p>Given nosing and tasting notes include \u201cearthy and sweet\u201d butterscotch and vanilla, malty biscuit, fresh oak chips, soft fruits, pears, banoffee pie and pineapple.<\/p>\n<p>The Tarlorgan is the third release in Glenmoragnie\u2019s travel retail exclusive Legends Collection, following Duthac and Tayne.<\/p>\n<p>The expression was developed in honour of the ancient Pictish King, the namesake of the woodland surrounding Glenmoragnie\u2019s Tarlogie Spring water source.<\/p>\n<p>The Tarlogan is available through World Duty Free from April, bottled at 43% abv in a 70cl format.
