Modelling the\u00a0M\u00e9tiers d\u2019art \u2018Paris in Rome\u2019 collection\u00a0(which was shown in Rome back in December) Kristen appears in three brand new images for the storied fashion house, taking on French chic and all its styling conventions, whilst skulking around in a Parisian boudoir.<\/p>\n<div class=\"pw pw-widget ra1-pw-classicWidget ra1-pw_size_small pw-layout-horizontal imageWrapper\">\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"lazyload\" data-src=\"http:\/\/marieclaire.media.ipcdigital.co.uk\/11116\/0000915ed\/a1f6_orh1000w646\/Kristen-Stewart-Chanel-2016-3.jpg\" title=\"\" src=\"data:image\/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP\/\/\/yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7\" alt=\"\" \/><noscript><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/marieclaire.media.ipcdigital.co.uk\/11116\/0000915ed\/a1f6_orh1000w646\/Kristen-Stewart-Chanel-2016-3.jpg\" alt=\"\"><\/noscript><\/div>\n<p>Karl himself shot the pictures, telling WWD that Kristen \u2018is the perfect for the Chanel image of today\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>The \u2018Paris in Rome\u2019 collection was Karl\u2019s big concept for pre-fall 2016 and saw him stage one of his epic productions in the iconic Italian film studio Cinecitta \u2013 all to honour Romy Schnieder and Anouk Aimee who wore Chanel in Italian films shot there in the 60s.<\/p>\n<div class=\"pw pw-widget ra1-pw-classicWidget ra1-pw_size_small pw-layout-horizontal imageWrapper\">\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"lazyload\" data-src=\"http:\/\/marieclaire.media.ipcdigital.co.uk\/11116\/0000915ee\/0eff_orh1000w646\/Kristen-Stewart-Chanel-2016-2.jpg\" title=\"\" src=\"data:image\/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP\/\/\/yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7\" alt=\"\" \/><noscript><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/marieclaire.media.ipcdigital.co.uk\/11116\/0000915ee\/0eff_orh1000w646\/Kristen-Stewart-Chanel-2016-2.jpg\" alt=\"\"><\/noscript><\/div>\n<p>Every year, Karl flies his M\u00e9tiers d\u2019art showcase to a different city that was significant for the original designer, Coco Chanel, and before his Roman adventure, he had previously taken over Shanghai, New York and Dallas with his productions.<\/p>\n<p>When in the Roman film studio, the Kaiser recreated a movie-worthy French street scene, and models from Lara Stone to Bella Hadid did a pretty fabulous \u2018walk of shame\u2019 down the catwalk in dishevelled lace.<\/p>\n<p>Kristen was front row, naturally, and played Coco Chanel herself in a mini-movie presented at the start of the show called Once And Forever.<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"copy-paste-block\">\n<div class=\"pw pw-widget ra1-pw-classicWidget ra1-pw_size_small pw-layout-horizontal imageWrapper\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"lazyload\" data-src=\"http:\/\/marieclaire.media.ipcdigital.co.uk\/11116\/0000915ef\/953f_orh1000w646\/Kristen-Stewart-Chanel-2016-1.jpg\" title=\"\" src=\"data:image\/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP\/\/\/yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7\" alt=\"\" \/><noscript><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/marieclaire.media.ipcdigital.co.uk\/11116\/0000915ef\/953f_orh1000w646\/Kristen-Stewart-Chanel-2016-1.jpg\" alt=\"\"><\/noscript><\/div>\n<p>It\u2019s not the actress\u2019 first collaboration with the iconic French fashion house though, of course, as Kristen previously starred in the label\u2019s Spring Summer 2015 eyewear and was announced as the new face of the brand\u2019s make-up back in February.<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"copy-paste-block\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"copy-paste-block\">See more at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.chanel.com\" target=\"_blank\">www.chanel.com<\/a><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Chanel has revealed its latest major advertising campaign &#8211;
