German luxury brand MCM has announced the opening of its new Hong Kong International Airport store, where the brand\u00a0offers a premium area for global travellers to shop for the latest\u00a0collections.<\/p>\n

The space, inspired by the concept of contemporary luxury, covers an area of approximately 243 square meters in the Departure East Hall of Terminal 1, and houses a variety of the latest MCM fashion and accessories merchandise.<\/p>\n

A stand-out feature is the innovative conveyor belt display stage, which can only be found at this store. An exclusive collection has been designed to celebrate the new store opening, including medium and small airport-themed signature backpacks, a cross-body wallet and an aviator-themed teddy bear key charm marked with the words \u201cMCM Loves Hong Kong\u201d.<\/p>\n

Each item is limited to maximum 150 pieces and exclusively available at MCM\u2019s Hong Kong International Airport store.<\/p>\n

MCM products are sold in 365 stores in 35 countries, with doors in Munich, Berlin, Zurich, London, Paris, New York, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Beijing, Seoul and Tokyo.<\/p>\n

This season the brand is celebrating the retro spirit of the 70\u2019s. Starring Estella Boersma & Niels Trispel, the Spring \/ Summer 2016 campaign is photographed by renowned lensman Alasdair McLellan & styled by Joe McKenna, who present a series of contemporary visuals that capture the creative energy of Munich\u2019s rock royalty & subversive visionaries that defined a modern era. The exclusive video, shot by leading cinematographer John Mathiesen reinterprets the essence of disco through a lo-fi aesthetic, featuring a special guest voiceover by the legendary platinum-selling \u201870s icon, Amanda Lear.<\/p>\n

Referencing Bauhaus-inspired designs & David Bowie\u2019s Ziggy Stardust era, the exclusive campaign presents a modern heritage where disco becomes the inspiration for today\u2019s contemporary Millennial audience.<\/p>\n
