Gruppo Campari Global Travel Retail is set to launch a brand new Aperol Spritz bi-pack design this summer. The new design is slimmer and more compact making it practical and convenient for the passenger to carry as well as maximising valuable shelf space in the retail area.

Commenting on the launch, Leigh Irvine (Global Travel Retail Director of Gruppo Campari) said; ‘Aperol Spritz is one of the fastest growing cocktails in the world, a drink that evokes the Italian lifestyle and is better enjoyed when shared with others. Gruppo Campari is looking forward to launching the new Aperol Spritz bi-pack to give consumers the opportunity to create this refreshing drink in an easy and enjoyable way.’

The history of Aperol dates back to 1919 when the Barbieri brothers first launched what has now become one of Italy’s favourite drinks. The light, bittersweet, orange-hued aperitif is infused with a blend of high-quality herbs and roots. The original recipe has remained unchanged and a secret to this day. According to IWSR 2014 data, Aperol is the fastest growing spirits aperitif brand worldwide.
