Ten years after launching its iconic \u201cNina\u201d perfume, the Parisian luxury label has a new scent in store, billed as an echo, a reflection of the original, sitting alongside it as a complementary facet. The new fragrance is titled Luna…<\/p>\n

The blonde model Frida Gustavsson, who has been the face of \u201cNina\u201d since 2013, is joined by her brunette counterpart and old friend Jac Jagaciak as the face of \u201cLuna.\u201d Together they form \u201cLes Belles de Nina,\u201d a new inseparable pair of partners in crime fronting Nina Ricci fragrances.<\/p>\n

The friendship between Swedish model Frida Gustavsson and Polish model Monika \u201cJac\u201d Jagaciak was founded far from the catwalks, when the pair were in their teens.<\/p>\n

The pals\u2019 friendship is now the centre of a new Nina Ricci campaign, showcasing star scent \u201cNina\u201d and its daringly delicious sidekick \u201cLuna.\u201d The two scents are different yet complementary, like reflections of one another, mirror images, forever inseparable.<\/p>\n

Nina Ricci gets a taste for caramel<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Parisian fashion house\u2019s \u201cNina\u201d is a fruity floral gourmand fragrance laced with candy apple notes. This subtly sweet scent is now echoed in \u201cLuna,\u201d a woody floral gourmand scent that succumbs to the temptation of caramel.<\/p>\n

Christophe Raynaud and Marie Salamagne developed an Eau de Toilette with a more mysterious facet than the original \u201cNina,\u201d created in 2006 by Olivier Cresp. The latest fragrance opens with notes of orange blossom and wild berries, matched with a heart of white Immortelle flower and caramel.<\/p>\n

Base notes of vanilla and sandalwood round off the scent with a sensual touch.<\/p>\n

The iconic raspberry pink candy apple bottle of \u201cNina\u201d is transformed into a mesmerizing blue apple for \u201cLuna,\u201d topped with two golden leaves. Like a couture creation, the bottle neck is embellished with a leather tie.<\/p>\n

Two women, two styles, two scents<\/strong><\/p>\n

Filmmaker Gordon von Steiner\u2019s \u201cLes Belles de Nina\u201d campaign video takes viewers into a parallel world tinged with mystery. This theme is also developed in the poster\/magazine campaign, shot by Dusan Reljin.<\/p>\n

The campaign sees a brown-haired model dressed in a long midnight blue dress alongside a blonde model in a white gown.<\/p>\n

They can be seen observing one another in the film, then slowly warming to each other before stepping out together with their emblematic animals \u2014 a snowy owl for Frida Gustavsson and a gray wolf for Jac Jagaciak.<\/p>\n

Nina Ricci \u201cLuna\u201d Eau de Toilette is out this August\u00a0in 30ml, 50ml and 80ml formats.<\/p>\n
