How do you know if you\u2019ve got that winning smile? There\u2019s an app for that.\u00a0Japanese cosmetics firm Shiseido says it has come up with a system to rate a person\u2019s smile by measuring facial movements.<\/p>\n
Users look into a tablet device with the app, and it gives them a reading on the quality of their smile on a scale of zero to 120.<\/p>\n
The app can also tell them how their smile is seen by others in various categories \u2014 trustworthy, elegant, attractive, beautiful, positive, friendly and lively.<\/p>\n
\u201cBut even if you have a 120 rating smile, it doesn\u2019t mean it\u2019s the best smile,\u201d a company spokeswoman told AFP.<\/p>\n
\u201cFor instance, a smile could be perceived as more elegant even when the overall rating is 80.\u201d<\/p>\n
