Absolut has launched a new innovation in vodka, available at Heinemann Duty Free for an exclusive six month period in Europe. Oak by Absolut, a new dark spirit created by adding elements of oak into the crafting process, is now stocked in key locations and supported by an integrated digital campaign.

Offering an entirely new taste experience, Oak by Absolut is an ideal souvenir to mark treasured summer travels. Created through a combination of original Absolut Vodka, barrel rested vodka and vodka rested on oak chips, Oak by Absolut offers a unique balance between the smoothness of vodka and the character of brown spirits, and signifies Absolut’s pioneering spirit for championing innovation through natural flavour: no colouring, sugar or flavouring agents used, just oak wood.

To drive awareness of the launch, travellers will be targeted at key moments along their Travel Trail journey. The digital campaign began in April when the product launched exclusively on Heinemann’s pre-order website and geo-targeted mobile banner advertisements across Frankfurt and Amsterdam were activated in May to coincide with the product’s in-store availability.

Oak by Absolut is now available in exclusively in Heinemann Duty Free stores across Europe, RRP €25.00.
