Shiseido Travel Retail has partnered with Changi Airport\u00a0Group and The Shilla Duty Free to launch an outstanding digital animation for Shiseido\u2019s\u00a0new Rouge Rouge collection at Singapore Changi Airport Terminal 3 \u2013 the first stop in a\u00a0global roll-out of the travel retail launch campaign.<\/p>\n

Shiseido continues the momentum of its brand\u00a0rejuvenation this July with the introduction of Rouge Rouge,\u00a0a range of lipsticks in 16 shades of red \u2013 the colour of Japan,\u00a0the colour of Shiseido. See our previous story on Duty Free Hunter<\/a>.<\/p>\n

This bold and energising colour is ingrained in Shiseido\u2019s\u00a0identity: the company\u2019s first cosmetic product was a red\u00a0lotion called Eudermine, which continues to be a global\u00a0bestseller today; and its signature red camellia logo still\u00a0graces Shiseido\u2019s packaging. This colour connection forms\u00a0the inspiration behind the Rouge Rouge campaign tagline,\u00a0\u201cRed is the first color.\u201d<\/p>\n

The highlight of the \u2018Red\u2019 animation at Changi, which runs\u00a0from 8 July to 3 August, is a traffic-stopping digital wall\u00a0designed to boost consumer interaction with the help of\u00a0motion-sensing technology. Boasting eight 55-inch LED\u00a0screens, the wall displays Rouge Rouge products as lively\u00a0patterns which change according to the movements of the people standing in front of it.<\/p>\n

Shiseido brand\u00a0consultants are inviting travellers to use the \u2018Find your\u00a0Rouge Rouge\u2019 iPad application to get shade recommendations and create a digital\u00a0portrait constructed using the 16 shades of red in the collection. The portrait can be\u00a0downloaded via a short-form URL or QR code to the travellers\u2019 mobile phones or shared\u00a0on Twitter, Facebook or Weibo, using the hash tags #rougerouge2016 and #shiseidored.<\/p>\n

Travellers are then offered lip makeovers based on the product recommendations,\u00a0followed by a photo opportunity against a specially designed background featuring the\u00a0\u2018Red is the first color\u2019 tagline, thus providing them with a memorable keepsake.<\/p>\n

Besides Rouge Rouge, brand consultants are also promoting Shiseido\u2019s star product,\u00a0Ultimune Power Infusing Concentrate 100ml \u2013 a size that is exclusive to travel retail \u2013 and\u00a0Ultimune Power Infusing Eye Concentrate. Customers who spend a minimum of SGD150\u00a0on Rouge Rouge and Ultimune will receive a special GWP, while members of the Changi\u00a0Rewards loyalty programme, will receive the GWP when they purchase SGD120 worth of\u00a0any Shiseido products.<\/p>\n

The animation is supported by an impactful media programme, which includes 43 screens\u00a0across Changi Airport\u2019s digital network and exposure on The Shilla Duty Free\u2019s Facebook,\u00a0Instagram and Weibo platforms, ensuring maximum visibility both online and offline.<\/p>\n
