If every action has an equal and opposite reaction then it was – scientifically speaking – totally inevitable that high-fashion would respond to the Kylie Jenner Lip Kit phenomenon. And who better to spearhead that reaction than Pat McGrath?<\/p>\n

The legendary make-up artist announced via Instagram the release of a new five-piece kit, ‘Labs Lust 004 Lip Kit’, consisting of a vinyl gloss, the iconic McGrath gold pigment, a jar of loose glitter and two lipsticks. Available in three shades – Bloodwine, Vermillion and Flesh – the aim of the game is to mirror McGrath’s penchant for mixing and matching, blending colours and glitters to create an infinite amount of bespoke shades.<\/p>\n

Labs Lust 004 in ‘Bloodwine’ was the arsenal McGrath used to create the ruby red lips seen on Bella Hadid and Taylor Hill at Atelier Versace’s couture show last month.<\/p>\n

The collection will launch (and, probably sell-out immediately) on McGrath’s website on August 30th, followed by a launch by a later launch on September 8th by Sephora. We are awaiting details of travel retail launches and locations.<\/p>\n
