Creating an exciting journey of discovery, Jameson Bold, Jameson Round and Jameson Lively make up the Jameson Deconstructed Series, an award-winning exceptional new range of whiskies available exclusively in Global Travel Retail (See previous story<\/a>). To create these whiskeys, this range has taken inspiration from the world-renowned Jameson Original and deconstructed its core attributes to use them as a base to create three entirely new taste experiences.<\/p>\n

The story of the Jameson Deconstructed Series began when the Head Distiller Brian Nation and his team looked for a way to celebrate Jameson Original and give fans across the world an alternative way to explore its great taste. Looking at the key components of Jameson Original – Pot Still Whiskey, Grain Whiskey and Wood Contribution \u2013 the team decided to create three new whiskeys inspired by each of these that would allow Jameson fans to explore new paths into whiskey and understand Jameson in a new way.<\/p>\n

Jameson Bold<\/strong> is pot still perfection. With a heavy emphasis of pot still distillate, this blend lets you know it\u2019s a chip off the old block. Bold has an undoubted spiciness which gives its fruit and spice notes centre stage. For a whiskey that lives up to its name, Jameson Bold makes a Bold entrance.<\/p>\n

Jameson Lively<\/strong> is a whiskey that goes with the grain. While pot still whiskey is still part of the blend, this whiskey unlocks the grain whiskey element resulting in a light touch and fresher, greener notes. With zesty vanilla, citrus and floral notes floating above all others, the delicate side of Jameson is placed front and centre. For a whiskey that lives up to its name, Jameson Lively leaps to life.<\/p>\n

Jameson Round<\/strong> gives the barrel the final say. With whiskey matured in a combination of virgin American oak barrels, bourbon barrels and sherry butts, this whiskey is like walking into one of the Jameson maturation warehouses. The result is a mellow, balanced mix of leather, dried fruits, ripe fruits and toasted oak emerging from the barrels. For a whiskey that lives up to its name, Jameson Round smooths the edges.<\/p>\n

Illustrator Greg Coulton gives each new bottle a special touch with his hand-drawn label illustrations, to make each of the whiskeys an eye-catching addition to any drinks cabinet. The labels each feature a ship design – the original crest for the Jameson brand \u2013 which reflect the specific taste profile and experience of that whiskey: a pirate ship for Jameson Bold, an air-balloon shaped ship for Jameson Lively and one carefully balanced on the tip of a rock for Jameson Round. Crafted to reflect the distinctive personality of the whiskeys, the new expressions are ideal for Jameson lovers to take home as a memento of their travels, as well as being the ultimate gifts for the Jameson fan.<\/p>\n

Jameson Deconstructed Series is now available in airports globally and launching with a special activation in Heathrow.<\/strong><\/p>\n

From now until 6th September, travellers will have the opportunity to taste each individual whiskey \u2013 Jameson Bold, Jameson Lively and Jameson Round \u2013 to discover the variations within the exceptional new series at the Jameson Deconstructed Series Destination Bar at London Heathrow Terminal 2.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Jameson Deconstructed Series has already won three awards at the International Spirits Challenge, showing how it is setting a new precedent for the whiskey category. Jameson Bold, Jameson Lively and Jameson Round are now available exclusively in Global Travel Retail at RRP\u20ac36.<\/strong><\/p>\n
