Kenzo asked Spike Jonze to make them an advert for their new fragrance, Kenzo World – and he sure did – its brilliant – watch it here…<\/p>\n

Spike Jonze is possibly best known as\u00a0the man behind the music video for Fatboy Slim\u2019s \u201cWeapon Of Choice\u201d and films like Being John Malkovich. Did we ever envisage him as being the man behind a luxury fragrance advert? Not really. Does it work? Definitely.<\/p>\n

Starring The Nice Guys actress Margaret Qualley, the\u00a0new ad for Kenzo World begins as a typical perfume ad usually does. Things kick off at a pretty standard corporate event, but Qualley gets tired of the fake laughs and ventures outside. It is here that she breaks into a 3-minute-long expressive dance, which consists of flips, shooting lasers, and licking statues.<\/p>\n

Featuring the track “Mutant Brain” by Sam Spiegel and Ape Drums, the advert has been choreographed by Ryan Heffington (the man behind Sia\u2019s \u201cChandelier\u201d video).<\/p>\n
