Ballantine’s launches limited edition gift packs for travellers, designed by music video director and photographer Dave Ma…

Following the success of its inaugural Artist Series in 2015, Ballantine’s has partnered with renowned music video director and photographer, Dave Ma, to launch three new Artist Series limited edition gift packs, available in Global Travel Retail.

The Ballantine’s Artist Series was formed to champion inspiring and innovative individuals who are committed to expressing their creativity in unique ways. The project’s second year presents gift packs that showcase Dave Ma’s unique perspective of Scotland, the home of whisky, in a series of stunning aerial photographs.

As a well-established music photographer and video director, Dave Ma has worked with some of today’s most exciting music artists including A$AP Rocky, Nick Cave, Diplo, Skrillex, Bastille and Rudimental. His repertoire extends well beyond music photography, with a newly discovered passion for capturing spectacular aerial landscape photographs.

The Ballantine’s Finest limited edition sleeve and tin feature Dave Ma’s striking images of the Scottish Highlands, reworked with a bold two-tone colour palette to reflect the energy and youthful personality of the blend. For the Ballantine’s 12 Year Old tin, he added depth to his stunning photographs with a rich blue colour palette to reflect the complexity of flavours in the 12 year old blend.

Pernod Ricard Travel Retail EMEA will be celebrating the launch of the limited edition gift packs with activity in Paris Orly and Rome Fiumicino Airports in November and December 2016. Travellers will be treated to tastings of Ballantine’s Finest and Ballantine’s 12 Year Old as well as a visual display that highlights the striking quality of the imagery.

The 2016 Ballantine’s Artist Series limited edition gift packs are available globally in Travel Retail and major retailers.
