Days after Coach celebrated its 75th anniversary with a star-studded blowout, there is reportedly even more exciting news for the brand: According to Page Six, Selena Gomez is going to be its newest celebrity face.<\/p>\n
Coach is known for working with big-name celebrities \u2014 they have Chlo\u00eb Grace Moretz fronting their fragrance, Lena Dunham serving as a muse for their 75th anniversary handbags and loyal fans including Emma Roberts and Zo\u00eb Kravitz attend every runway show.<\/p>\n
The apparent decision to go one step beyond simply signing Gomez as a ‘face’ and working with her on a collection follows the current trend for more meaningful collaborations between brands and influencers, like Gigi Hadid’s ongoing collaboration with Tommy Hilfiger (see story<\/a>).<\/p>\n But with Gomez reigning as queen of Instagram for the second year in a row, this would be one of their biggest celeb partnerships to date. The deal reportedly cost $10 million, according to Page Six, and in addition to starring in the advertising campaign, the paper says, Gomez will have her own line for the brand.
