Givenchy\u2019s spring-summer 2017 campaign tells a tale of two worlds. According to WWD, Givenchy creative director Riccardo Tisci wanted to convey \u201cfreedom and serenity\u201d for the advertisements. Models Irina Shayk, Lea T., Vittoria Ceretti and Faretta appear in the Mert & Marcus lensed images. The layout juxtaposes studio portraits with a desert landscape shot on location in Southern California.<\/p>\n

\u201cI want to make clear that we are welcoming different kinds of women, different kinds of men in our world,\u201d Tisci told WWD. \u201cWe can dress a woman that\u2019s more mature, more classic and a woman who is more street, more daring, stronger and more sensual \u2014 girls that like to play with fashion.\u201d Carine Roitfeld worked as stylist for the campaign with art direction by Giovanni Bianco.<\/p>\n
