Chinese fine jewellery designer Bao Bao Wan is collaborating with MAC Cosmetics on a make-up\u00a0collection\u00a0inspired\u00a0by gemstone colours.<\/p>\n
Bao Bao Wan and MAC Cosmetics are collaborating in a limited edition collection consisting of 9 products. Bao Bao Wan is China\u2019s number one socialite, artist, pop philosopher, muse and jewellery designer. Many say she\u00a0represents China\u2019s modern woman – embodying sophistication, luxury and a little bit of edge. Set to hit stores in March 2015, the collection will be available for four weeks in 33 countries and territories and incorporates metallic golds and rich jewel tones, much like Bao Bao Wan\u2019s jewellery designs.<\/p>\n
\u201d I drew a lot of inspirations from a jewellery designer\u2019s point of view. The collection incorporated shades from my favourite rare gemstones, layered with multiple coats of gold.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m very conservative with makeup color, and I\u2019m very much about gold shades. I used my logic and my senses: I didn\u2019t want any crazy colours in the collection, and I wanted it to be practical and to suit every skin tone,\u201d Wan told the WWD news site.<\/p>\n
