British designer Paul Smith has opened his first store in Scandinavia\u00a0with a new style emporium at Copenhagen airport.<\/p>\n

Situated in Terminal 3 – Turn shopping into an experience! At Paul Smith you’ll find menswear, womenswear, shoes and accessories.<\/p>\n

According to the airport, the interior design comprises unique touches reflecting the shop\u2019s location and the colourful fa\u00e7ade pays homage to the work of Mexican architect Luis Barrag\u00e1n.<\/p>\n

The 75sq m store features a large concrete-topped table, pair of Hans Wegner shell chairs upholstered with Paul Smith and Marharam fabric and a signature art-wall. The reclaimed partridge wood flooring was sourced from Bretton Hall College in Yorkshire and dates back to 1949. Key Paul Smith products are available including A Suit To Travel In\u00a0– the suit with 100% high-twist wool fabric that provides fantastic crease recovery\u00a0– the Basso trainer and business Folio.<\/p>\n

Smith said: \u201cI\u2019ve always had a great affection for Copenhagen because of its wonderful history in design, especially with furniture and objects. One of my favourite designers is Poul Kj\u00e6rholm and the simplicity of the Danish approach to design makes it such an inspiring place to visit. I\u2019m delighted to be opening our first shop in Denmark in Copenhagen airport. As with all my shops, I hope to offer something unique and unexpected.\u201d<\/p>\n
