Kristen Stewart will be\u00a0the face of Gabrielle Chanel, the forthcoming new women’s fragrance named after the brand’s founder Gabrielle “Coco” Chanel.<\/p>\n

The eau de parfum is the iconic fashion house’s first new fragrance pillar in 15 years, set for release this September (see previous story<\/a>).<\/p>\n

Following her role in the campaign for the Gabrielle bag<\/a> by Chanel (one of four “friends of the house” who appears in adverts for the new handbag), Stewart channels the designer’s mystique in the imagery for the fragrance.<\/p>\n

The actress will appear in September in the film campaign for the scent that was shot by director Ringan Ledwidge. The print ad was lensed by Karim Sadli.<\/p>\n

Stewart has been a Chanel ambassador since 2013. She has been the face of campaigns for the M\u00e9tiers d\u2019Art collections \u2014 Paris to Dallas in 2014 and Paris to Rome in 2016 \u2014 and currently stars in the house\u2019s ad for the Gabrielle bag.<\/p>\n

Stewart was appointed Chanel\u2019s face of makeup in February 2016, and appeared in its campaigns for the Eyes 2016 and 2017 color-cosmetics campaigns and the Fall 2016 Le Rouge Collection Number 1 advertisement.<\/p>\n
