The move caps a blockbuster 2016 in which the company sold 50,000 units in its first year of U.S. sales.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Launched in 2013 as a labour of love by founder Giuseppe Petti, Didof\u00e0 grew to 2,000 authorised Italian retailers by 2015; 1,000 more are currently slated to begin retailing the brand over the next year in Europe and around the world. When Didof\u00e0&#8217;s distinctive watches and fun, fashionable jewellery began flying off the shelves of the first authorised U.S. retailers to stock the products, Petti realised American consumers were just as hungry for Didof\u00e0 as were the brand&#8217;s hundreds of thousands of Italian fans. With a high-end boutique aesthetic and an affordable price point, Didof\u00e0 appeals to a wide variety of consumers, from trendsetters to jetsetters. The company&#8217;s Facebook post featuring a sneak peak of the upcoming Didof\u00e0 handbag line prompted one fan to comment, &#8220;Cannot wait to see them.
